Tribute to Rick Nebeker: Rick Nebeker passed away Saturday, October 16. He was hiking with his family when he suffered a massive heart attack. Rick was a charter member of the Wasatch Penturners Club. He enjoyed meeting and talking with the members. He will be remembered for his friendship, his excitement about pen turning, and his willingness to help anyone anytime. Several mentioned that he was one of the kindest men they had known.

Comments from Jay Brown: There are four woodturning clubs in Utah that we know about. We would like to establish closer ties among the four groups. One step in that direction was that two members of the Wasatch Penturners [Tim Schaeffer and Lauren Rants] presented demos at the Utah Woodturners Christmas party last week.
